Joanne Carew and Aurelia Chapman The latest paleontological discovery in the Cradle of Humankind is believed to have significant meaning for the history of human evolution. Dr Job Kibii, a researcher at the Institute for Human Evolution, was part of the group that assisted in the latest find. The discovery of the initial specimens in August 2008 coincided with Kibii’s first hominid site visit. He, along with team leader, Professor Lee Burger, visited the site with Burger’s son and the family dog. |
